Our Urban X Essentials Hinged Doors are a streamlined, design-led option for clients wanting the look of a steel-framed door at a more accessible price point. Featuring the same refined Urban X profile aesthetic, this imported range is ideal for modern interiors requiring clean lines, light flow, and practical everyday performance.

Designed as a budget-friendly alternative to our Australian-made Premium range, Essentials doors are supplied in a simplified offering with standard glazing options and hardware selections. This makes them perfect for projects where style matters, but budget and lead times are key considerations.

Available in single or double hinged configurations, the Essentials range is suited to residential builds, renovations, and standard internal openings where a steel door is desired without the full custom premium specification.

The Essentials range is designed around popular panel layouts and glazing selections, providing a clean, consistent aesthetic across a project. With a simplified specification and limited finish options, this range offers an efficient solution for clients who want the steel-framed look without the full customisation and premium finishing of our Urban X Premium Australian-made doors.

Urban X Essentials hinged doors are ideal for standard internal applications such as studies, hallways, living zones, and general room separation. Supplied with your choice of clear, reeded, or frosted glazing, these doors maintain light transfer while providing a modern and refined finish.

Urban X Steel doors are engineered with custom profiles to achieve crisp sightlines and consistent performance, not generic tube steel:

  • Door Jamb Profile: 50 × 20 × 35 P steel profile
  • Door Leaf (Frame) Profile: 38 × 26 × 40 P steel profile
  • 30mm T-bar Transoms

These profiles ensure minimal frame depth, clean edges, and a refined visual proportion unmatched by typical steel door offerings.
